The spin-off anime “Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online” had been announced to premiere in April 2018. The upcoming anime is based on the spin-off light novel with the same name by Keiichi Sigsawa who is known as the author of the relaxing slice-of-life novel Kino’s Journey.

For sure, fans of Sword Art Online are pretty excited out there as we’re not only getting this spin-off anime but the third season for the anime had been previously announced too. Sword Art Online season 3 will adapt the Alicization arc from the light novel and we couldn’t simply wait to see the next chapter of one of the most popular anime of this generation.
Meanwhile, Sword Art Online: Alicization is scheduled to premiere in fall of 2018.
