The sixth and final installment from Digimon Adventure tri. project had been announced to debut on May 5, 2018 in Japan. In addition, a new visual for Digimon Adventure tri. 6: Bokura no Mirai had been revealed on its official website.
Also known as Digimon Adventure tri. 6: Our Future, the film will screen in Japanese theaters for the run of three weeks starting May 5, 2018. a limited-edition Blu-ray Disc will be sell too in the theaters that screening the film, just like with the previous films.

The project is a part of the 15th anniversary for the Digimon franchise. It opened with Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 1: Reunion which hit the theaters in November of 2015. Succeeding films such as Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 2: Determination, Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 3: Confession, Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 4: Loss, and Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 5: Coexistence follows.
Now, this might be a real goodbye to our beloved digimons and their partners as we finally embark on their last journey to save both the human world and the digital world. So, let’s all witness the final phase of their adventure as we look forward for brighter future for our favorite characters in the series.
